Jessica Simpson's divorce from Nick Lachey may have been finalised, but the blonde songstress says she’s currently not ready to start dating again.
Despite reports linking Jess to numerous guys - including actor Jared Leto and comedian Dane Cook - she insists she’s happy being newly-single.
"I don't feel right about dating yet," she says.
With romance off the agenda, the 26-year-old ‘Dukes of Hazard’ star is putting her all into her singing and acting work, including preparing to release her new single ‘Public Affair’.
"I think every year you become more clear about why it is you're here ... I'd be bored without chaos. I go stir-crazy if I have nothing to do," she says.
But while love is off Jess’ mind, her ex-hubby Nick clearly has no problems on the dating front - he’s currently romancing MTV host Vanessa Minnillo.
