Although he didn’t win ‘American Idol’, Chris Daughtry is about to get a taste of his dreams after signing a record deal.
Chris has inked a contract with music guru Clive Davis and 19 Recordings, the label managed by ‘Idol’s creator Simon Fuller.
The 26-year-old rocker “has already begun to work with A-list collaborators to write and record material for an album which will be released later this year.
But the North Carolina native Chris won’t be stepping out solo. He’ll instead form a band.
Last month, Chris turned down an offer to be the lead single for the band Fuel.
Until his album hits stores, you can check out his version of Bon Jovi’s ‘Wanted Dead Or Alive’ on the American Idol: Season Five" compilation album.
