Even though Wimbledon officials are denying they tossed David Hasselhoff out of the tennis grounds because he was drunk and beligerent, they are confirming he didn't have the proper pass to gain access to certain areas. The "Knightrider" and "Baywatch" actor was treated like a commoner and denied entry to both the press and private player's bars at the London Club.
In an earlier report this week, Britain's Sun newspaper claimed the "steaming drunk" 53-year-old actor was involved in a "blazing row" outside the hallowed grounds of Center Court on Monday, because he did not have the correct accreditation to gain entry. The story went on to claim that Hasselhoff was then banned again - this time from press and players' bars as he tried to get a drink and was overheard by onlookers shouting, "Do you know who I am? I'm the Hoff."
(He's the Hoff? Who calls him that??)
His rep denies the Sun's report that he was drunk, but it all just adds to the bad karma he's had during his visit to London. Last week he injured himself at a luxury hotel by mysteriously bumping into a chandelier -- uh, while shaving. Broken shards from the chandelier cut into the actor's arm badly enough that it severed a tendon and required an emergency room visit. Hasselhoff's arm was still in a sling at Wimbledon when they tossed his ass out.
