Colin Farrell got an unpleasant surprise as a guest of Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show when a woman who sued the actor for harassment walked on the stage. Dessarae Bradford had alleged in a small-claims lawsuit that Farrell stalked her with inappropriate calls and text messages, but her lawsuit against him was dismissed. But last night, it seems as if like Bradford is the real stalker.
Bradford was in the studio audience during taping when she went on stage and placed a copy of her self-published book, "Colin Farrell: A Dark Twisted Puppy," on Leno's desk. Sources are reporting that Farrell calmly walked Bradford off stage and asked for security.
As the woman was escorted off the set she shouted, "I'll see you in court" to which Farrell replied, "You're insane."
As Farrell sat back down, he quipped, 'My first stalker,' to which Leno said, 'Welcome to celebrity."
When later asked about the incident by Access Hollywood, Farrell would only say, "I don't know. I don't know."
Sergeant Gunn of the Burbank Police Department told Access that the woman was "identified" and advised not to return to NBC property. Gunn added that she was detained by the police but not taken into custody.
Unfortunately (for us), an NBC spokesperson said the unscripted incident would not be televised.
