The wait for Kelis’ new album has got a little longer. The wild singer’s fourth album ‘Kelis Was Here’ will now hit stores on August 22, after its June release date was pushed back.
The R&B songstress’ album boats guest appearances from some of the urban world’s hottest acts, including B.E.P’s will.i.am, Cee-Lo and, Kelis’ husband, Nas.
Meanwhile, Kelis, Ciara and Chris Brown have all signed up to feature on a new movie soundtrack, ‘Step Up’.
They’ll all deliver tracks for the album that is released in August. The album is led by Ciara's new single ‘Get Up’, which features Chamillionaire.
R&B singer Mario stars in the romantic comedy.
