Christina Aguilera has revealed there was never a feud between her and fellow pop princess Britney Spears.
The ‘Ain’t No Other Man singer, who starred on the 'Mickey Mouse Club' with the pop tart, says: "We were like best friends, but the media saw a navel and blond hair and had to create some drama.”
Xtina has also revealed that although she has turned her back on her explicitly sexual image with her new ‘Back To Basics’ double album, she says she has no regrets about her ‘Dirrty’ past.
She says about the strong female image she fronted for her last album, ‘Stripped’: "If you liked it, you wanted to root for me — 'Look, she's empowered.' If not, well, you'd stick all those labels on me."
She adds: "The sexuality coming forward on this record is more softened."
"It's more pin-up, tongue-in-cheek. It's playful. People take sex far too seriously."
