DMX is a wanted man. An arrest warrant has been issued for the rapper, real name Earl Simmons, for missing a court date earlier this month.
He was due to attend court on June 21 to answer charges of speeding and driving erratically while in White Plains, New York, on June 2.
The hip hop bad boy had already been granted a one week extension.
Judge Barbara Leak told reporters: "We have granted him a number of courtesies. It ends now."
DMX’s lawyer, Stacey Murray, has explained that her client had flown into New York for the court date, but became ill during his journey, and said he would now appear in court today.
This isn’t DMX’s only legal worry, he’s due to appear in court in New Jersey next month to answer even more reckless driving charges.
