Sandra Bullock’s alleged stalker was ordered to stay away from the actress until 2009, after his retraining order issued three years ago was extended by a Los Angeles court order.
The ‘Miss Congeniality’ star claims Thomas James Weldon followed her across America and bombarded her with endless emails and faxes.
The 2003 order Weldon was slapped with was due to expire this month and Sandra took him back to court seeking an extension that would keep him at least 200 feet away from her for another three years.
“I do not know [the] defendant, I have never met him and I have never communicated with him nor voluntarily accepted any communication from him," she said in court documents.
Neither Sandra or her stalker, who is being held in a Tennessee mental health institute until September, were present at the court hearing.
The brunette actress’ lawyer, Edwin F McPherson, says, "I think she can feel a little bit safer now."
