Prince Albert of Monaco , who has spent years being photographed with models and other beautiful women so the press would stop talking about how gay he was, has now admitted to fathering a second illegitimate kid.
According to French newspapers, the 47-year-old bachelor prince had a quickie affair with a married American waitress, Tamara Rotolo, in 1991 while she was on vacation in Monaco. Rotolo listed Prince Albert as the father on the birth certificate of her daughter, Jazmin Grace, now 14, who she named after Albert's mother, the late movie star Grace Kelly.
Rotolo filed a paternity suit in 1992, but a California court threw it out, saying it lacked jurisdiction.
The prince’s 14-year-old daughter, who lives in Palm Springs, California, cannot inherit the throne and will not share the Grimaldi family name but she is entitled to a chunk of the family fortune. The same goes for Albert’s other illegitimate child, 3-year-old Alexandre. The prince, who has never married, acknowledged last July that he had fathered Alexandre with a former Togolese flight attendant.
Albert became Monaco's ruler in April 2005 after the death of his father, Prince Rainier.
