Brad Pitt has fought off Leonardo DiCaprio in a bidding war to secure the movie rights to the zombie book, ‘World War Z‘.
Brad’s production company Plan B and Paramount pictures went head to hear with Leo’s Applan Way and Warner Bros, reports say.
‘World War Z’, which was penned by Max Brooks, is set a decade after a worldwide zombie epidemic and will be published this fall.
It hasn’t been revealed just how much cash Plan B coughed up to secure the rights.
You’ll next see Leo in crime drama ‘The Departed’, which is directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Pitt’s Plan B. While Pitt will next pop up in the lead role in a movie about legendary outlaw Jesse James.
