Currently looking to add to his assortment of three white kids, Michael Jackson has been shopping around orphanages in Japan to possibly pick out another kid. Or two.
Fox News columnist Roger Friedman is reporting: "His trip to Japan was not all about publicity and quick self-gratification for a dimmed star with no fans. He toured orphanages. I'm told he's looking for children to add to his current collection of three."
His other kids are Prince Michael, 9, Paris, 8, and Prince Michael II, 4. The pop star is in a legal battle with ex-wife Debbie Rowe over custody of the two older kids and there's rumored to be some explosive revelations due sometime soon. No one knows where Jackson got the third child.
Friedman is critical of the singer's plans and says Jackson should not be allowed to adopt a child because of the molestation accusations that have been made against him in the past.
"Why Japanese authorities would let Jackson leave their country with children would be a good question," the columnist wrote. "You'd think standing trial for child molestation would be an impediment to adoption."
Friedman is reporting that Jacko is touring Japan and Asia to raise his profile before he attempts to relaunch his pop career later this year. Next stop: Bangkok!
