Pop princess Kylie Minogue will resume her postponed Australian Showgirl tour later this year, following her recovery from breast cancer surgery.
"Obviously she has still got a few mountains to climb," concert promoter Michael Gudinski has revealed.
"But we are very confident that the tour will be going ahead in November," he added.
Kylie was due to start the Aussie dates of her world tour in May 2005 but plans were halted when she was diagnosed with cancer.
The tour will be renamed Showgirl Homecoming Tour and the dates will be spread out to ease the pressure on the recovering starler.
"She is still getting tired on the odd day, but she looked fit as a fiddle," said Gudinski, who is also a long-term friend of Minogue.
"I spent the weekend with Kylie. She's looking great. She's definitely through the worst of everything," he added.
He also revealed that Kylie has been working on some new material, saying: "You can't keep Kylie down. She's actually recording in the studio and working on songs as we speak."
