Jennifer Lopez has reportedly had fertility surgery, in a desperate attempt to have a baby with husband Marc Anthony.
The 26-year-old pop diva had surgery as an out-patient last month at a Los Angeles medical centre, a source has revealed.
"The procedure involved the introduction of a laparoscope into J.Lo's abdomen through a small hole near the belly button, for the purpose of taking a close look at the ovaries, fallopian tubes and other organs for adhesions or possible malformations," an insider says.
During the four-hour surgery a “small blockage” was found “in one tube”. The tube appeared to open up when material was injected into it.
The reports follow speculation that J.Lo was already pregnant, which the singer and actress recently blasted saying: “The rumours about me being pregnant are always strong and always wrong."
