If you're a Seinfeld fan, you gotta love the classic Elaine Benes line: "Maybe the dingo ate your baby." Shoot, I can't even remember the episode where she tried out the fakey Aussie accent but it was one of those funny nonsense things that makes you laugh your ass off everytime you hear it. And maybe it's some far-out wild dog explanation for why the world has never seen an actual photo of the mysterious Suri Cruise, because either the dingo ate that baby, or Tom Cruise is pissed he wasn't offered more than that insulting $3 million.
While photos of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, the spawn of do-gooder parents Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt fetched $4 million from People magazine the pictures of Tom and Katie Holmes' Suri have gone unseen and unsold. Ange and Brad announced that the money they raised by pimping the baby pics would all go to charity, but there's been no mention of Tom making any such offer.
Wireimage, a leading photo agency, was called in to handle the bidding of photos of the the newborn Cruise baby, but it is believed that the deal was called off because none of the bidders was ready to go beyond $3 million, and the amount that was not high enough for Tom.
"Shiloh was the whole deal," an unnamed source at People told Fox News. "We won't see a baby like that again for a while."
And the world has yet to see Suri at all.
