After the death of his best friend, Proof, and splitting from his wife, Kim, rap star Eminem finally has something to look forward to.
He’ll star in a movie remake of the 1950s television western show ‘Have Gun - Will Travel‘, it has been reported.
The hip hop superstar, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, will play a bounty hunter in a present-day version of the drama.
Eminem made his movie debut in the autobiographical ‘8 Mile’ and reportedly had a “hard time” finding the right role to follow up his critically-acclaimed first film.
It’s not yet been decided whether the movie will be set in Eminem’s home-town of Detroit - which was the location for ‘8 Mile’.
This will not be a music-themed movie, it’s been revealed.
"When this property essentially became available, we discussed it and brought it to Marshall," Eminem's manager says.
"He was very intrigued and excited about the concept."
