Police have removed Daryl Hannah from a tree during protest at a Los Angeles community garden.
The actress and other demonstrators were protesting to stop the demolition of the garden to build a warehouse on the site.
"I'm very confident this is the morally right thing to do, to take a principled stand in solidarity with the farmers," Hannah said by mobile phone before she was removed from a tree.
During the protest, seven people inside the garden were arrested and 27 demonstrating outside were also arrested.
Last month, Hannah said that supporters had put up $6 million of the $16 million needed to save the garden.
Celebs like Laura Dern, Danny Glover and Willie Nelson have also joined the campaign.
