Cate Blanchett will bizarrely be one of seven actors to play music legend Bob Dylan during different stages of his career in a new biopic.
Oscar winner Cate, who has previously portrayed Queen Elizabeth and Katharine Hepburn on the big screen, will portray Dylan during his androgynous stage in the movie ‘I’m Not There’.
Joining the 37-year-old Aussie actress in the film will be Heath Ledger and his girlfriend and ‘Brokeback Mountain’ co-star Michelle Williams, Christian Bale, Julianne Moore and Richard Gere.
The movie will be directed by Todd Haynes, who brought us 2002’s ‘Far From Heaven’ and 1998’s David Bowie biopic ‘Velvet Goldmine’.
Before you’ll get to see Cate playing Dylan, she’ll next hit theatres in ‘Babel’ with Brad Pitt and ‘The Good German’ opposite George Clooney.
