Beyonce was the queen of Cannes, after her latest movie ‘Dreamgirls’ was a massive hit when it premiered to an all-star crowd.
Calls for “more” were heard just 20 minutes into the movie, loosely based on the life of Diana Ross and the Supremes, which stars Beyonce as the lead singer of a successful girl group in the 1960s.
Rumours are even circulating that the bootylicious ex-Destiny’s Child babe could win an Oscar for her role.
The film created more hype than the much anticipated ‘Da Vinci Code’ which flopped at the festival.
Jamie Foxx also stars in ‘Dreamgirls’ as the band‘s manager.
“The toughest thing for me in this movie is to have to kiss Beyonce, that Jay-Z will have to kiss my ass,” the Oscar-winner revealed about his role.
