Beanie Sigel has been discharged from hospital, after being shot wounded during a shoot-out in the middle of attempted robbery. The American hip hop star left the University of Pennsylvania Hospital just five hours after he was admitted on Thursday morning.
“I got shot. I‘m cool,” the rapper said as he left the hospital in a wheelchair. The attempted robbery he was wounded in involved five men in two cars, but police are unsure about where the incident took place.
The rap star, who starred in the movie ‘State Property‘, has been plagued by gun trouble. He was cleared of attempted murder last September after his second trial over the shooting of a man in 2003, and in August 2005 he was jailed for 10 months for illegally carrying a gun.
But his legal woes aren’t just limited to firearms. In November last year the bad boy rapper was jailed briefly for failing to keep up with child support payments.
