Axl Rose was arrested in Stockholm Monday for acting like a drunken rock star. Oh wait, he IS a drunken rock star. Ax got loaded and did some damage to a hotel after a gig, then hurled some threats, then started biting a security guard on the leg. I wonder how much of it the Guns n' Roses frontman will remember when he wakes up in the drunk tank today?
Reports are that the singer had performed at a concert and later got in a drunken brawl with an unknown woman.That's when a 30-year-old security guard tried to break up the fight and was bitten on the leg by Axl and taken to a nearby hospital for rabies shots evaluation early this morning.
As for Axl: "I'm not sure if he was taken away in handcuffs, but he is in the drunk cell and we are waiting for him to sober up before we talk to him," said a police spokesperson.
He faces charges of damaging property, assault and threatening police. But even though the internet and the world knows it was Axl Rose, Swedish police will only say, "We have a rock star but we won't confirm the name yet."
This is the second time in a month the rocker has been in a brawl. He got into it on May 19, when fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, 55, smacked him around at a Rosario Dawson's birthday party.
