Angelina Jolie has fulfilled her dying mom Marcheline Bertrand’s final wish.
French actress Marcheline has been desperate to see her baby granddaughter, Shiloh Nouvel, but was too ill to make the long-distance flight to be beside her daughter while she gave birth last month.
So the ‘Tomb Raider’ star took Shiloh to visit her grandmother last week upon, so Marcheline could hold her before it was too late.
“Angelina and her mum are really close. Their time apart during the latter stages of her pregnancy was tough,” a source has revealed.
“She originally wanted to give birth to Shiloh in France — the country where her mum was born and raised.
“But Marcheline simply wasn’t well enough to make the long-haul flight to be by her daughter’s side.
“When she finally put Shiloh in her mum’s arms it was an emotional moment to say the least.
“Angelina was overwhelmed that her mum managed to battle through to see her granddaughter at last.”
