Environmentally-friendly actor Leonardo DiCaprio has urged all his fans to find out more about environmental issues by watching ex-presidential candidate Al Gore’s new movie about global warming.

The ’Titantic’ star, who saw the film at the Cannes Film Festival, posted the message on his official website (http://www.leonardodicaprio.org).

“Go see ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ when it comes to your town! Gore is funny, engaging, open and downright on fire about getting the surprisingly stirring truth about what he calls our 'planetary emergency' out to ordinary citizens before it's too late," he wrote.

Affleck Rushed To Hospital With Migraines

Ben Affleck has been rushed to hospital suffering from serious migraine headaches. His wife, ‘Alias’ star Jennifer Garner, took him to the accident and emergency ward of a Boston hospital on Monday.

"Ben Affleck was treated for a migraine at Mt Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, today," the actor's representative, Ken Sunshine has revealed in a statement. He added that Ben was 2.30pm and remained there for several hours before being released. The actor is now relaxing at his rented Boston home.

The security guard who allegedly shot D-12 rapper Proof in a Detroit nightclub will not face any additional charges for his murder - prosecutors say.

When Mario Etheridge shot Eminem’s friend and bandmate Proof, whose real name was Deshaun Holton, he did so to protect his cousin - Keith Bender - and therefore acted within the law.

The fact that Etheridge fired twice at the ceiling in an attempt to stop Proof from continuing his attack on his cousin before aiming the gun at him was used to support the security guard‘s defence claim.

Helena Bonham Carter and her husband Tim Burton are locked in a battle to stop a London pub - where Kate Moss is a regular visitor - from extending its opening hours.

‘Big Fish’ star Helena and director Tim - who created movies like ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ and ‘Edward Scissorhands- who live in the trendy Primrose Hill area of London are trying to block the plans, insisting that the noisy pub-goers would disturb their way of life.

The famous couple has penned a letter of complaint to their local council about The Sir Richard Steele pub - which attracts many celebrity drinkers who live in the area including Oasis front man Liam Gallagher and Jude Law’s ex Sienna Miller.

Brittany Murphy has revealed her talents aren’t just limited to acting, she can also sing.

Although fans might think her debut single ‘Faster Kill Pussycat’ will be the first time they’ll get to hear the ‘8 Mile’, ‘Clueless’ and ‘Just Married’ star’s singing voice, she’s actually worked anonymously as a singer for years.

“I've been singing anonymously my whole life. I've sung the hooks on a lot of rap and R&B songs - I just never took the credit,” Brittany says.

R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles will celebrate her 25th birthday this September with the release of her long-overdue sophomore solo album.

The first single taken from appropriately titled ‘B’Day’ album is called ’Deja Vu’. It will feature the bootylicious ex-Destiny’s Child star’s boyfriend Jay-Z and will be produced by beatsmaster Rodney Jerkins.

Super-producers The Neptunes, Rich Harrison and Swizz Beats all take production duties, and the album is executive produced by Beyonce and Mathew Knowles - the ultimate pushy father.

James Blunt Banned From Radio Station

Pop whiner James Blunt has been erased from a UK radio station’s play list by bored bosses.

Last week, bland Blunt defended his music at an awards show, saying that if people don’t like his music they should just switch the radio station over. This prompted Essex FM to take his advice to the extreme, removing him from their airwaves.

The radio station says it made the decision after listeners complained they were sick of hearing Blunt’s coma-inducing hits ‘You’re Beautiful’ and ‘Goodbye My Lover’ everywhere they went.

Brad & Angelina Donate To Namibian Hospitals

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $300,000 to help pay for new maternity equipment for hospitals in Namibia, where their daughter Shiloh was born. Brangelina’s cash boost will help treat babies at state hospitals in the Southern African country.

"We want to contribute to Namibia and the people who have been so gracious to us at this time," the Hollywood couple say.

The donation will "contribute significantly" to the health of Namibian babies, the country’s Deputy environment and tourism deputy minister Leon Jooste says.

Jennifer Aniston has revealed the perils of dating a guy who is much taller than you. The actress says she spent weeks plagued by sore, blistered feet while she filmed ‘The Break Up’ with off-screen boyfriend Vince Vaughn last year.

5-foot-5 tall Jen was forced to wear painful high heels to match the height of ‘The Wedding Crashers’ comedy star, who is a whole foot taller than her.

"We had a ball making the movie, though with him at 6-foot-5 and me at 5-foot-5, they had trouble keeping us in the same frame,” she revealed to Harper's Bazaar. "I was constantly having to wear these incredibly high heels, which was like having a workout.
