American Pie star Shannon Elizabeth allegedly attacked a papparazzi photographer and grabbed his video camera after she got tired of him filming her friends in New York City. The actress was walking through Central Park on Monday with actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler, singer Lance Bass and Reichen Lehmkuhl, who won the fourth installment of reality TV show The Amazing Race. The very odd four-some (Lance and the openly gay Reichen are boyfriend-boyfriend now) were spotted by a photographer who attempted to catch them together as a group, or separately, or maybe he was just stalking ...
Once the girls spot the stalkerazzi, Jamie plays beard and puts her arm around Lance's shoulder, while Shannon drops back to walk with the adorable Reichen (who is too hot for Lance!).
Shannon, a has-been and never-was who now appears in Celebrity poker tournaments, is no stranger to bad press but this marks the first time that the words "attack" and "paparazzi" and "Jamie Lynn Sigler" (or Discala - is she divorced yet?) have been used in the same story. The Sopranos star tends to leave controversy and all that to her male co-stars who seem to get arrested every few months.
The "foursome" was filmed strolling down the street for several blocks before Shannon freaked out. She can be heard on the cameraman's videotape pleading, "Will you stop filming? It's enough."
Just as the cameraman tells Shannon "They don't seem to mind me," Jamie-Lynn WAVES and smiles to the camera. Nope, she's not minding.
Welp, Shannon then goes like "We all mind. Stop!" and a scuffle ensues.
Apparently, Elizabeth snatches the camera, takes the battery out and throws it on the street. And here's the video footage!
Jamie-Lynn was celebrating her 25th birthday at the Lucky Club in the Ritz Carlton Hotel (where she was with her mom, and her nightclub owner beau Scott Sartiano and Shannon). The gang sang "Happy Birthday" to The Sopranos star before moving on to the Guns 'N Roses concert and Sartiano's hot spot Butter.
