With a career that's about to be launched faster than a speeding bullet, the newest Man of Steel, Brandon Routh, has already dismissed the notorious "Superman curse" which seem to plague actors who've gone before him. The original TV Superman, George Reeves, died from a shotgun blast at age 45. Then the most famous Superman, Christopher Reeve, was in a tragic riding accident that left him paralyzed, and he died of health complications at the age of 52. "If something happens to me, I'll deal with it," Brandon said.
