Scary rap mogul Suge Knight, the co-founder of the infamous Death Row Records - which launched the careers of 2Pac and Snoop Dogg - has spoken out about his decision to file for bankruptcy.
"For the last few years there's been a stigma attached to Death Row. People like the Harris' have been coming out of the woodwork and it's been like a dark cloud hanging over me. I've decided that I'm serving Death Row its last meal. I'm setting a new table," he revealed in a statement.
Suge's lawyers say he made the decision after a $107 million dollar payout was awarded to Lydia Harris.
Harris, who is the former wife of jailed drug boss Michael "Harry-O" Harris, successfully sued Knight, claiming he had cheated her out of a stake in the record label.
Since then Suge has skipped a series of court hearings, most recently on April 1st.
Knight's lawyers also said that they plan to file a motion against the Harris' and her lawyers for undisclosed violations of federal bankruptcy law.
