The fantabulous Parker Posey will bring her feminine swagger to three episodes of 'Boston Legal' doing what she does best - saying funny s**t and just being the world's greatest scene-stealing actress.
The wierd and wonderful Parker is often called the "Queen of indie films" and has starred in such classics as "Dazed and Confused", "Waiting for Guffman," "Party Girl," "The House of Yes", "Scream 3", "Josie and the Pussycats," "A Mighty Wind", and "Best in Show." (The classic line: "What are you looking at!? Wipe that face off your head... bitch.")
According to the BL press release, Parker will play a politically-minded lawyer (with her hysterical edge in place, I hope) at the law firm of the wicked bunch: Crane, Poole and Schmidt. Her character, Marlene Stanger, is nicknamed is 'The Squid', which in mythology is the only creature believed to have the ability to kill sharks. The Squid. What an appropriate nickname for a Parker character!
There's no news on when the episodes will air (bummer), but Parker will next be seen on the big screen this summer in "Superman Returns" as Lex Luthor's sidekick, Kitty Koslowski.
