The arrival of 1st level Thetan-child Suri Cruise sucked out all the air from the celebrity watch universe, which leaves the arrival of Brooke Shields' daughter ON THE SAME DAY as an ironic twist.
Little Grier Hammond, the baby of Brooke and hubby Chris Henchy, arrived mere hours before Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes delivered their new daughter, Suri.
The name Suri, we are told from the press release, means “princess” in Hebrew and “red rose” in Persian. (And "female conehead" in Xenunan. And "Suri with the fringe on top" in Oklahoman.)
What are the odds that Cruise and Shields, who blasted each other last year over the use of medication to combat post-partum depression (PPD), would have their babies on the exact same date?
Anyway, congrats to both Brooke and Katie for coming through just fine and best of luck to both -- to Brooke, who may suffer some post-partum depression, and to Kate, who will suffer during her post-partum deprogramming.

Sick and so tired of Tom and feline names etc. Use to admire him, don't know her. I try to avoid anything in the media about Tom and Katie. One would think they are the first ever to produce a child. It makes a person want to choke up a hairball!!!
