One of Hollywood's greatest screen legends, Elizabeth Taylor, is reportedly on the brink of death with a failing heart.
Sources say the Oscar winner, 74, is bedridden in her Bel Air, California, home. After learning her health was deteriorating, she cancelled her annual Easter party and began planning her funeral.
A friend says, "Liz is inching closer to death every day and she knows it. It is not a pretty picture. "She's not leaving a lot of money to her children. She wants the bulk of her fortune to go to AIDS research."
The actress and former child star reportedly will be buried next to her former husband Richard Burton in Switzerland.

This is the saddest news i have got so far. she is my american rose. talented beautiful as ever. i wish her quick recovery and am so sudden that she is planning her death. who tells her she is going to die. it is only God who give and takes life and so she should be patient with God and not let him take control.
What is happening to Academy winner of WHO IS AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?
be well Elizabeth

It's really sad to see these older stars, who could teach the ones of today how to act, become ill and pass away. Thank goodness for the preservation of their films and that most of them can live on as we best remembered them.

i feel the same way concerning these faithless people and doctors who claim death instead of life for a person.doctors and their lack of faith in a patient living. leads to these premature decision to a persons life.and because they can't do anything to improve a persons health. they give up and welcome death. it's very sad that our doctors and nurses don't hang on to human life as they once did.
