Sick bags at the ready. Publicity ho Tom Cruise has reportedly revealed he plans to eat his new baby’s placenta and it’s not even another crazy Scientology ritual.
Tom, whose fiancée Katie Holmes is due to give birth over the next few days, says "I'm gonna eat the placenta. I thought that would be good. Very nutritious. I'm gonna eat the cord and the placenta right there," according to the Mirror newspaper.
Before thinking over the yummy act, saying: “OK, maybe I won’t”.
The baby-crazy superstar has even bought his own ultrasound machine so he can take his own scans of the foetus.
The “War of the Worlds” star has also revealed he’s been learning all about what’s happening inside his wife while she’s pregnant.
"We've been studying what a woman goes through. What happens to her body. It's just kind of becoming this fun game of learning."
Tom has also confessed that his sex life with much younger actress Katie has made him realise that one night stands are pointless.
"Great sex is a by-product for me of a great relationship, where you have communication. It's an extension of that. If you're not in good communication with your partner, it sucks," he explains.
