I am saddended to hear about my legandary singer Whitney. Whitney's story reminds me of how Billy Holiday story ended. I pray continuosly for her strength and hope God allows her to fight her demons. I pray her family doens't wash there hands of her. She needs all the support she can during this very difficult time.

I know you going threw bad times riight now but trust me you gonna breakthrough 4real you gonna sit back oneday and just thank god for your fan and friends that belived that you was a fighter not a quiter you have alot to live for ma 4real and i pray to god that you will be heeled and you will by the grace of god of course dont let them demons control your life be strong and god is gonna win you back we will tooo...keep your head up always....

Whitney girl, The devil is busy destroying what's left of your life. I was in prayer this morning, Jesus has not forgot about you and he never will. He loves you unconditionally everyday, all day. No matter what you go through in this life your burdens are never to much for him to bare. The battle that you are going through right now has already been won sista! Thanks to refreshing blood of Jesus Chris our Lord and Savior.It doesn't matter what people say whether you are rich,famous,pretty,ugly,poor ect. You will never be good enough for man. Don't you know the bible states that man will fail you, so put your trust soley on HIM. He will love you when your family stop and your friends and even your fans. No one understands your hurts and pains but Him. Give it to him and let him have it. I Love You. You give good love was my favorite song when I was just 9 years old I sung it to my first love Andrew, I will never forget that. I learned the whole song in 3days just to sing it to him. And I didn't understand what Love really meant, until I met Jesus. Let him give you good love from here on out, He will never stop loving you, he ordained you and made you in his perfect image. There's a saying that goes..."If you want to know how to be in a marriage ask peolple who are married"... Beyonce, I don't know if you are the one who will receive this comment, but I want who ever does to know that in order to help Whitney you must approach the situation with with the same perspective, but a different concept, a lot of prayer in addition to having someone who has traveled the same road that she has. The vast majority of people who offer thier words of support and egcouragement are those who love her in response to her contributions to thier lives through her music and her presence. I am one who offers help through my own experience. I am a recovering addict who knows what it's like to go through what Whitney is going through. She is in a lot of pain as well as dealing with a lot of shame and guilt. For a person of her stature it is very difficult to face the people that you feel you have let down. She's dealing with the battle in her own mind and the spiritual warfare that exists within. I know what it took for me and the same may aply for her.

Fight my sista!!Iam also a recovering crack addit i know her pain and shame,because of my crack habit my Heart is in bad shape i have to go to the cardioligist by weekly now so my heart won't stop i'm on the highest dose of nitro patch they make all because i had to have that Hit...the same demons that Whitney is fighting but I only pray that she will find herself and let God back into her life..I love u Whitney Please fight for your life....

You're right about the approach that needs to be taken and we as recovering addicts (7+ years for me)understand fully how she feels about her addiction and herself and the damage that's already been done to her self esteem. But we also know that she doesn't want to be an addict. She doesn't want to lose everything that she has: her life, her family, her friends, her fans.

It's noble that some of her friends have decided to step forward and extend that helping hand...we know how important it is to see that hand. Once she makes the decision to reach out, she'll have the largest support network I've ever heard of: millions of people who will gladly tell her each day how much she's loved and offer her their love and support. Who'll remind her that she is a decent, beautiful individual who's deserving of living a sober and happy life.

You have two choices, Whitney: you can remain an addict and lose everything including, eventually, your life. Or you can pick yourself up, brush yourself off and start your new life. There's no reason for you stay down. You're not the first person that smoked crack and you won't be the last. But you don't have to remain a crack addict.

Remove yourself from and avoid people, places and things that will deter your recovery and sobriety. Bobby would be a good place to start when it comes to people. You can do better than that, darling.

Change doesn't happen overnight. It's something that we work hard toward, regardless of social status. There's no reason to stay down. We all fight our own personal demons everyday; poverty, abuse, unemployment, homelessness. We all have our challenges in life that we must meet head on and for alot of us, having you sing to us made our own hardships easier to bear.

Now you need to sing again. Sing of success. Sing of love. Of joy. Sing of your new life.

And remember that we're here for you. By the millions.

I too am a recoving crack addict, it's hard but it beats the alternative!! I lost everything and when there was no one left I turned it all over to my higher power and with the Grace of God I have been clean 3+ years. Yes somedays are easy and somedays it's rough, but now even the roughest days don't even compare the the best days I had using. Stay strong and like the other addict said, pick your self up and show people what that are strong and nothing can keep you down. Forget the past we can't do anything about that..Tomorrow is what to look for. God Bless and in my prayers.

I totally agree with Katina, you must remove yourself from the lives of negative people. You cannot allow people to bring you down and use you. People do not use you, you allow yourself to be used. You must be around people with positive attitudes towards you and your daughter. Do not allow the profanity the f___k words to be spoken even around the children. You really need to rid yourself of Bobby. Only put your trust in Jesus, because man will fail you everytime. Don't you know that you can be miserable and unhappy by yourself. You dont need a man in your life to bring you down.
If you ask not, you get not. All you have to do is ask God to come into your life and to heal you of the addiction, trust me he will. God healed me of an incurable illness December 31, 1991 completely at the altar. What he has done for me. he will do for you as well. Your daughter, your mom need you.
