Rap star Young Jeezy is out on bail after being arrested on weapons charges following a Miami Beach shootout which involved his friends. His lawyers say the found guns aren't his.
The gunfire erupted on Saturday morning after a fight involving a group of people Jeezy was with. One of the men involved shot at a passer-by who filmed the fight refused to hand-over his video camera.
Jeezy and nine other men fled the scene but when they were later stopped by police, they found two semi-automatic firearms in the vehicle he was riding in, leading him to be arrested him for carrying concealed weapons without a permit.
"Jeezy adamantly denies that any of the weapons belonged to him and I am confident that Jeezy will be vindicated,” Jeezy's lawyer Scott Leemon says.
Two other men were arrested – one for armed-robbery – after the incident in which no-one was injured.
Jeezy will appear in court to face the charges on March 31st.

Comments
These charges don't mean anything, since Florida issues concealed weapons permits the charges are not that serious and even if he is found guilty, which isn't probable, he won't see much if any prison time. The weapons were just semi automatic firearms, not automatics so that lowers the severity anyway.
