Not only was poor little rich girl Paris Hilton banned from the Vanity Fair Oscar bash despite being on one of its covers last year, she now been officially disinvited from Elton John's annual Oscar bash as well.
"The party is a benefit gala, and tickets are $2,500 a pop," an insider told PageSix. "When it was suggested to her that she donate the money, Paris just said, 'Don't you know who I am?' and waltzed right in. Isn't she supposed to be wealthy? Everyone else paid. She won't be asked back."
The gossip column reports that a rep for the Elton John AIDS Foundation confirmed Hilton didn't donate a cent, but indicated in her interviews with the press that she did. A rep for Hilton retorted by saying, "Paris did instruct her accountant to cut a check for $10,000. They should get their money."
Meanwhile, Us Weekly magazine has stopped running stories about her. "She even got into a huge fight with Stavros Niarchos at their Oscar party, and they didn't put it in the magazine," another source told PageSix. "It's all for show and to get press anyway. And she doesn't sell. They will run pictures of her, but that's about it."
