Simple Life star Nicole Richie is grossed out by reports that director Kevin Smith is claiming that the socialite had a bathroom fling with his friend Jason Mewes who played Jay in his "Jay & Silent Bob" films.

Smith, who directed of "Dogma" and "Clerks" and "Jersey Girl", told the story during a speech to undergraduates at the University Of Pennsylvania recently. He alleged Richie, 24, seduced Mewes a couple of years ago, after dragging him into a bathroom. Smith, who played "Silent Bob" in his own films, said Nicole pulled Jay into a bathroom and just sat on (him) and started going at it."
Nicole's camp has issued the denial. Her spokeswoman Cindy Guagenti told the New York Daily News, "She didn't know [Jason's] real name till I explained, and then she said, 'I met him but, ewwwww! Are you kidding me? I've never ever had sex with him.'"
Smith seems unhappy that the details of his speech hit the gossip columns and e-mailed the Daily News with a bit of backup info: "That wasn't my exact wording, I don't believe, but it's close. This is all secondhand information about something that happened 2 1/2 years ago. ...[But] it came from Mewes."
What is amazing is that Smith, who has alot more to say than Silent Bob every did, has to make up stories on his buddies and has none of his own stories to tell. Snoooogens.
