Mischa Barton could soon be slipping into blue tights and a red cape to star in the latest big-screen adaptation of "Supergirl".
The "O.C" actress is reportedly in talks with Warner Brothers studio executives and is the top of their casting list to play the heroine, who is Superman’s cousin from planet Krypton.
It would be the first "Supergirl" movie since 1984 and would follow hot on the heels of the release of "Superman Returns" this summer.
It's rumored the sexy star – who recently confessed she doesn't understand why guys find her attractive - was also being considered for a role as another super-heroine, Wonder Woman.
London-born Mischa was recently voted the UK's most eligible woman in a magazine poll.
