Madonna says she's going to quit acting, as her terrible reputation as an actress casts a shadow over any film she appears in.
The superstar has starred in a string of famous flops, including "Shanghai Surprise", erotic thriller "Body of Evidence", and the notorious stinker "Swept Away" (which went straight to video in the UK after bombing in America).
"What film can survive people saying it's going to be a bomb from the second it's announced?” she says.
"Making movies is such an effort. And to do that over and over again, with the possibility that I am going to get the s**t kicked out of me and they really enjoy doing it. I mean, it doesn't make sense. I have sort of let it go."
Erm, when did she actually start acting?
