It sounds like Jennifer Aniston hated the terrible movie "Rumor Has It" as much as the rest of us did. She's putting it behind her and has gone on to a new career (bashing Brad), but nevertheless felt the need to offer forth excuses for a second rate performance in a chick flick.
She described the fluffy film as "the worst experience of my life", insisting personal problems and a poor script left her "unmotivated" and miserable on set.
It was one of two major pictures she did around the time of her divorce from Brad Pitt, and the film earned an anemic $43 million (GBP25 million) at the box office.
Jen now says she wished she had never done it. She was intrigued by the concept but says she was bitterly disappointed with the end result and poor press.
"The worst experience of my life, the worst experience; the worst film," she said. "It's like a great idea, an interesting backdrop for a romantic comedy. But it was never fleshed out, never fully realized. And for me, personally, I was going through a horrible time." (alert! Brad smack!)
"I wasn't at my best as an actor. I was unmotivated by it. Why talk about it? We can let that little train go by."
