Lisa Kudrow has revealed “Friends” could have been back on our screens for a reunion show, but plans had to be scraped after one of the former friends refused to take part.
But this time it wasn’t Jennifer Aniston, who was usually blamed for putting the show on hold. It’s reported that one of the male cast members - David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc or Matthew Perry - turned down a multi million deal to appear in the one-off special.
“There is an opportunity for the rest of us to do a reunion show but one member has said no,” Lisa, who played Phoebe Buffay in the hit sitcom, says.
"It's one of the guys. I'm gutted.
Lisa’s confession supports the rumors which first started circulating after Kathleen Turner revealed she had been asked to reprise her role as Chandler Bing’s transvestite father. Kathleen’s claims were later furiously denied by television network NBC.
The massively popular sitcom "Friends" ran between 1994 and 2004. A spin-off show, "Joey", was launched following Matt LeBlanc’s character as he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career, but it failed to emulate the success of "Friends".
