Katie Holmes may have gotten married eight months ago to fiance Tom Cruise in the eyes of the Church of Scientology. One of the church's chaplains reportedly married them in a ceremony at sea last July.
The two of them are said to have exchanged rings which have triangular Scientology symbols on them, but Tom and Katie only wear them at Scientology functions. After the ceremony, the two of them walked across a tiny bridge, which is a Scientology symbol for the journey to "total freedom."
Fellow Scientologists John Travolta and Kirstie Alley were said to have been on the ship, where guests were also celebrating Tom's 43rd birthday.
