Matt Willis has dissed his former bandmate Charlie Simpson after he slagged off their old band, Busted, and called his time with them “torture”.
Matt has lashed out, calling the posh pop star a “b*stard” and says he’s "p****d off" with his nasty comments about the British pop-rock group and lack of loyalty to their fans.
"I refused to say anything bad when we split but then I read lots of interviews by Charlie slagging off the band - it really p****s me off. I thought: ‘What a b*stard,‘” he says of his ex-bandmate who caused the chart-topping trio‘s split in January 2005, to leave to join another band.
“We were in the band for five years, and it's insulting to our fans who spent money following us around, buying our music and voting for us to win awards. It's out of order.
"I haven't got anything against his new band [Fightstar] but it wouldn't have happened if it hadn't been for us,” he added.
Charlie has previously said: "I was in a music career which was amazing, and I hated it because it wasn't fulfilling. I kept thinking, imagine if I was in a band I really liked, I'd be loving it. It was torture.”
Busted’s third member, James Bourne, joined another band after the split called, Son of Dork.
Matt drops his debut solo single "Up All Night" on May 22nd and his album on September 4th.

i tell ya what, matt is right, charlies gone too far by slagging Busted off, yeh i like fightstar and i do like charlie but hes begginning to be a problem to me.
Charlie hasnt got the balls to say any of what hes said about the band to matt of james' faces so he slags the band off? what the hell?!?

I never had a problem with Charlie but hes been slagging busted off recently and now i just thinks hes a fucking cunt.
If Busted was such "torture" then why the hell didnt he leave before?

ye i hate chrlie now i used 2 luv him but after sayen that whats the point really i mean i havnt even seen fightstar get anywhere busted got and there not even a patch on what busted was and matt ur right charlie wudnt have fightstar up and running properly on tv if it wasnt for you and james because he was in a chart topping band people probably thought fightstar would be ghe same ........... oh boy how wrong you where!!!
