"Basic Instinct" star Sharon Stone will reportedly lose custody of her five-year-old son for a year under an unusual agreement with ex-husband, Phil Bronstein.
According to Star magazine, the couple came to an agreement in November that states that their adopted son, Roan, will spend one year with one parent and then the next year with the other.
The annual custody switch will continue for the next four years until the agreement is reviewed again.
Since Sharon is shooting five films this year, Bronstein felt that Roan would be better off staying at his home and attending school regularly, rather than traveling to various film sets. Bronstein works in San Francisco where he is editor-in-chief of the Chronicle newspaper. Not that Sharon will be childless during her busy year: she'll still be traveling with her younger son, eight-month old Laird, who she adopted alone after divorcing Bronstein.
