Ricky Gervais, the brilliant mind behind the sadistic British office comedy "The Office" will be joining Ben Stiller in his new film "Night at the Museum".
The British star said, "It's a cameo written for me and all my scenes are with Ben."
In the movie, Stiller plays a bumbling night watchman at the Museum of Natural History who discovers a magical pharaoh's tablet and accidentally lets loose an ancient curse that causes the animals and insects on display to come to life and wreak havoc. Gervais will be playing the very uptight museum director. (Sounds great already.) Also in the cast are Carla Gugino, Kim Raver, Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney and Bill Cobbs.
Gervais currently has the number one podcast in the world with "The Ricky Gervais Show." If you haven't heard it yet, you can give it a listen at www.guardian.co.uk.
