Nick Lachey, who had a popular singing career with 98 Degrees before his marriage to Jessica Simpson , is asking for about half of her net worth, his jewelry and even spousal support in their upcoming divorce proceedings.
In the latest development, the celebrity couple is even feuding over exactly WHEN they split: Jessica is claiming they separated on November 23, when she sent him an email telling him their marriage was over, and Nick is saying the official date of separation wasn't until December 13, when she actually moved her stuff out of their house.
That doesn't sound like a big deal, but Nick wants the full half of her earnings up until the minute of their split. That includes another $425,000 - which amounts to half of what Jessica earned during the two weeks when she made $850,000 when she performed at a private concert in Cincinnati.
Let's see: he's only 32, handsome, rich and famous, and has numerous options in his career to make a ton of cash - yet he lacks enough balls to be a man and wants Daisy Duke to support him and pay alimony.
Booooo Nick! What are you thinking? The reason you didn't sign a pre-nup was because you made more money that she did before you said "I do." Now that the shoe is on the other foot, you want to get greedy. This is going to be one ugly celebrity divorce.

Kudos for Nick! That airheaded bia-tch needs to pay what is due to him! She would not get this far without him and the ONLY reason why her father, psycho-psuedo manager, allowed her to marry Nick in the first place, is so that it would boost her career. Oh come on Nick, be a man and support yourself. Surely you don't need your ex-wife's money to pay for your new 5.5 mil dollar home. If you can't afford it, you shouldn't have bought it. Celeb's will do anythlng for money, like marry and divorce so their ex can support them. Pitiful.

Nick is the cheater! In the relationship. Come on! Jessica was a virgin until she got married she didn't cheat. Nick was the one going to see strippers and is now with Vanessa who looks like one. She fits him perfectly, Jessica is way to pretty for him. She will get a better guy one that has enough balls to be a man!!
