Mariah Carey is reportedly totalled pissed with Grammy producers because they're letting Madonna open tonight's show instead of her.
The diva who is nominated for EIGHT Grammys - Mariah - asked if she could open the show with a full choir singing "We Belong Together," but Madonna told producers she would boycott the show unless they gave her the opening spot.
Even though Madonna's "Confessions on a Dancefloor" isn't nominated for any Grammys, the producers gave in. They're saying that her opening number dance extravaganza - featuring the British group Gorillaz - will hook viewers early.
"The producers noted that Madonna is a five-time winner," reported a source. And Mariah's EIGHT nominations apparently doesn't matter... as the battle between these two continues.

First of all Mariah Carey is not a stupid bitch okay. I mean come on people need to know somebody before u judge them. I mean give her a freaking break jesus christ. It's official that Madonna sells 275 Mio records worldwide and Mariah 230 mio records,and she will never reach the high level of Madonna.
Maybe Madonna hasn't the best voice but what she has is to understnad how to entertain the audince!!!
Mariah is most borring singer ever, she has only big succes in the USA, but in Europe and everywhere no one like to hear her borring Songs!!!

Mariah was in fact nominated for 8 Grammys, winning 3 as we know. The producers could have said, "Nah Madonna, we feel Mariah should open regardless how much she "supposedly" protested. Truth, they asked her and she agreed. If anyone should be mad, it should be at NARAS, not Madonna. Besides, as a performance not to be bias, Madonna was a better performance. She got the viewers initally and got the attention. All we heard from Mariah was that she won 3 after being snubbed for so long, not about her performance so what does that say?
