In a recent interview, hottie Josh Holloway said he stole food and scammed free rides on trains just to survive while waiting for his big break.
The actor, who plays Sawyer on "Lost" says he moved to Europe at the start of his career and had to endure some lean years. "I was starving, actually, for the first couple of years. I was stealing food and jumping trains in Italy. I traveled all over but I ended up living in Bologna and speaking only Italian. It was very strange."
The actor lived overseas for three years, finding success as a model before returning home. He adds, "I came back to New York before going to LA. I didn't know what to do, so I tried acting."
Congrats to Josh for taking the difficult "Hillary Swank road" to Hollywood. Say what you will about her, but she was living in her car before she made it big in films. Josh says he has had to turn down some roles, but he just shot his first feature film, "Hellion." I expect the Hunk of the Year will be a huge star well after "Lost" finishes it's run.
