Britney Spears has apologised for driving with her 4-month-old baby son on her lap. The pop tart told Access Hollywood: "I made a mistake and so it is what it is, I guess."
The star sparked criticism from fans, parents and Pink when she was photographed behind the wheel of her SUV with the infant bouncing on her lap. A sheriff's investigator visited the singer's home Tuesday for contact information to submit to the Department of Child and Family Services, who will likely speak to Brit about the putting Sean Preston in danger.
Britney had previously issued a statement blaming the paparazzi for freaking her out saying, "I was terrified that this time the physically aggressive paparazzi would put both me and my baby in danger. I instinctively took measures to get my baby and me out of harm's way..." (As Jossip.com pointed out by "out of harm's way" she meant "in front of a potentially lethal airbag.")
Who knew that K-Fed could actually look like the better parent in this family??

WHAT AN IDIOT!!! anyone that has any kind of sense would know that putting your baby in your lap isn't "protecting it from the paparazzi." really, even if they were as bad as the ones that supposedly killed princess di, imagine what might've happened to the kid for this "mistake."
on top of that, i hardly think that babies care about getting pictures taken of them--if they did, then there are a whole lot of unhappy babies in america!
c'mon, brit... you can blame plenty on the media--but not this! if you had just admitted that you're stupid AS HELL, you could've saved face a little. whining and fingerpointing only serves to make you look worse.

britt you relly inspierd me until i found out that you put that poor little baby in danger i think anyone that would put any child infit or anything elsethat lives on this earth and didnt cause it to happen dont desorve what they got giffted i think what you done was pretty stupid

A bad choice on behave of britney-i have seen many people drive with kids on there laps and all should stop and think before they put anyones life in danger-think carefully before you act next time brit!

The only difference between Brit and the rest of america is that she has more people paying attention to her when she does what many parents have done one at least one occasion in their lives.
