Beyonce Knowles fans listen up, this is the news you've been waiting for. The bootylicious diva wants to release her much-awaited second solo album this summer, she's revealed.
The former Destiny's Child lead singer's movie career has skyrocketed, meaning it's difficult for her to fit studio sessions into her packed schedule. But she hopes to hit the studio to record the album as soon as she finishes filming her latest flick, "Dreamgirls", which co-stars Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy.
"I'm going to try and do an album after the movie. I want to put the album out in the summer, which means I have six weeks to record it after the movie [is complete]),” Beyonce says.
"But I've done that with just about every album, so we'll see if it happens again," she added.
