Britney Seeks Hindu Blessing For Her Little Cheeto

Sean Preston & Britney Good bye, Kabbalah. Hello, Hinduism. Britney Spears took her 4-month-old son Sean Preston to a Hindu temple in Malibu to have him blessed.

The singer who was raised a Baptist and studied Kabbalah under her mentor Madonna, now appears ready to give Hinduism a shot. The "Oops, I Did It Again" singer was spotted at a Hindu temple, where she reportedly was getting a blessing for her baby son. K-Fed was not in attendance.

"Apparently, Ms. Spears can�t make up her mind which tune to dance to," Rick Ross of Cultnews.com observed. "I�m sure her mentor [and Kabbalah enthusiast] Madonna will not be amused."

The 24-year-old star was even adorned with a divine eye, the spot Hindi women wear on their foreheads to show that the person has been to worship services), as she left the service. Cute kid, though.

Leif Garrett Busted for Turnstyle Jumping, Heroin

Leif Garrett pic Former child star Leif Garrett was stopped in Los Angeles over the weekend for not having a valid ticket to ride the subway. And, oh yes, possession of heroin too.

Garrett, a drug addict, was put on probation last March after pleading guilty to attempted possession of cocaine-based narcotics, and this latest charge, his third since 2001, violates his probation.

In the police report, the 44-year-old Garrett was stopped on Saturday around 6 p.m. by sheriff's deputies in the Pershing Square subway station after it was found that he could not produce a ticket to ride the system. I know this is a shock to all Americans. Who knew Los Angeles had a subway system? Where the hell does it go?

He was subsequently searched and allegedly found to be possessing narcotics, authorities said. He's been charge with heroin possession and fare evasion.

Crystal Parizanski pic Millions of viewers watched the return of "American Idol" and experience the ... funniest ... contestant ... ever. Well, maybe not ever, but the 16-year-old stopped Simon Cowell in his tracks with her, uhm, supertan.

The orange-skinned, empty-headed Xtina wannabee Crystal Parizanski, who looks like she uses a black magic marker to apply her eyeliner, announced, "I think I'm kinda like Christina Aguilera because like I, I have attitude, like, 'I'm gonna do it', like, no one matter what, no one's gonna stop me."

Like, not to be distracted by her attempts to promote her singing, then Simon says, "it�s the most strange look make-up tan I�ve ever seen in my life."

Peaches Geldof Resents Her Wierd Name

Peaches Geldof pic Sir Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches is appealing to celebrities to give their children normal names, insisting her name has made her life hell.

We can assume that Peaches is also speaking for her three sisters, named Fifi Trixibelle, Pixie, and Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lilly.

Loads of celebrities have laid a potential lifetime of ridicule on their children by naming them everything from Pilot Inspektor Riesgraf (Jason Lee's kid) to Moon Unit Zappa. Some kids took charge of their lives once they reached adulthood: David Bowie's son changed his name from Zowie to Duncan, and Free Carradine changed his name to Tom.

But Geldof kid, 16, whose full name is Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof, resents her bizarre string of names and is even upset about her famous surname. "I hate ridiculous names, my weird name has haunted me all my life. I hate being famous. People claim to know me because of my surname."

Mary-Louise Parker pic In about the only surprise of the night at the Golden Globes, Mary-Louise Parker who plays the pot-dealer soccer mom of "Weeds" beat out the four desperate actresses of "Desperate Housewives" to win for Best Actress in a TV comedy Globe.

The 41-year-old star won for her terrific portrayal of a single mom who sells ganga to support her two boys in the wickedly funny "Weeds." Mary-Louise says she has been surprised by the public and critical response to the cable show, which was renewed for a second season, and admits she initially expected her character's income scheme to offend a lot of viewers.

"I'm really in favor of legalizing marijuana," she says. "I don't think it's that controversial. I thought people would be more offended by this than they are. I'm surprised they weren't."

Parker adds she was stunned she beat "Desperate Housewives" stars Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria to win her second Golden Globe. "I thought Felicity would win. I think we're all desperate housewives. My character is just a little bit more desperate than theirs."

David Duchovny May Bulk Up for Hulk

David Duchovny pic Former "X-Files" star David Duchovny is rumored to be pretty close to signing a deal that will make him the new Incredible Hulk after Eric Bana declined to play the green giant again.

Peter Cuneo of Marvel comics revealed Duchovny is the frontrunner to play Bruce Banner/Hulk in "The Incredible Hulk 2" in a recent interview with AOL's Motley Fool Radio Team. "Duchovny's name has been bought up several times. He's quite the fan too."

Bana is said to have pulled out of the sequel when he discovered the plan was to release the film direct to DVD.

Cuneo insists there's still life in the Hulk project: "Hulk did $250 million worldwide box office, which is a huge box office, and as you may recall, we had tremendous success with our toy line, which was a complete sell-out, over $100 million worldwide."

Reese Witherspoon pic Fashion couture Chanel has reportedly embarrassed Golden Globe winning actress Reese Witherspoon by loaning her a recycled gown to wear to the awards show.

Reese, who won Best Actress for "Walk the Line" at the Globes on Monday night wore a white-and-silver Chanel dress that they had told her was vintage. Only it turns out their definition of "vintage" means three years old - because that's when Kirsten Dunst wore the same dress to the Globes after-parties in 2003. A Kirsten Dunst cast-off! Ewwww!

According to PageSix, Reese's rep, Nancy Ryder, is said to be so angry at Chanel for giving her a recently recycled gown that she's vowing not to accept anything from Chanel again - or let her other clients, including Jennifer Lopez and Ren�e Zellweger, wear anything from the French couture house.

"Reese was told the dress was vintage. It was not," Ryder said. "I'm not angry - just a little disappointed, but the big deal is Reese won the Golden Globe."

Q'Orianka Kilcher Explores the New World as Pocohontas

Q'Orianka Kilcher pic Newcomer Q'Orianka Kilcher, who stars as the legendary Pocohontas in her first movie, the upcoming epic "The New World", has the style and beauty that is likely to cast her as the next It girl in Hollywood.

The beautiful 15-year-old is part Huachipaeri and Quechua Indian on her father's Peruvian side, and she was born in Germany to a Swiss mother. Adding to the international flavor, she grew up in Hawaii and California and has a large extended family in Peru. Q'Orianka, who used to sing for money on a Santa Monica sidewalk, was chosen over thousands of other young actresses for the part, and says that before the film she had never even heard of her co-stars, Christian Bale and Colin Farrell.

Not that she's totally out of it as far as Hollywood is concern -- her second cousin is singer Jewel Kilcher - she says that she just doesn't watch many movies.

The new actress plays the historic figure Pocahontas, the Powhatan princess who was between 10 and 12 years old when English explorers landed in Virginia ("the new world") in 1607. Q'Orianka was 14 when the filming took place and she turns 16 next month on February 11.

Golden Globes: Gamorous and Best Dressed

Evangeline Lilly pic Evangeline Lilly wins my vote for best dressed of the Golden Globes last night. She has a boyish little body on "Lost" but her Elie Saab emerald gown, her makeup and hair, was beautiful. Well done, Evangeline!

Zhang Ziyi was another easy pick as best dressed. She wore a lime dress silk tulee by Armani with a sweetheart neckline and floor-length train. Sophisticated, dainty and elegant. Natalie Portman, even with her short hair (remember she shaved her head last summer?), looked chic in vintage Chanel with black lace and a ribbon belt.

Jessica Alba looked smoking as usual - didn't catch the designer's name, but the dress was perfect. Ditto for Best Actress winner Felicity Huffman who will need to pick out another killer dress because she's likely to get an Oscar nomination in a few weeks for her role in "Transamerica."

Keira Knightley was a near miss last night. Normally, she can wear a garbage bag and make it look good, and while her Valentino dress was beautiful it didn�t need that curtain tie-back thingy hanging down the front waist...

Drew Barrymore pic Whoa! Look who was the worst at the 2006 Golden Globes Award ceremony last night. Hands down -- or boobs down, waaaaaay down -- it was Drew Barrymore and her mean green dress that let her granny-tits stretched to down to her navel. What was up with that look? She actually made Mariah Carey look passable this year.

Seriously, Drew is too young to have such enormously saggy tits. She chose not to wear a bra and didn't bother to check herself in the mirror before leaving the house, and the dress only made things worse. Gross.

Also in need of a mirror: The always lovely Charlize Theron's ugly see-through black John Galliano dress was a problem for her all night. The material was transparent in the lights, and it seemed like she was holding her purse in front of her crotch when a camera was pointed at her. But who was looking at her when you could stare at her man, Stuart Townsend?
