Evangeline Lilly wins my vote for best dressed of the Golden Globes last night. She has a boyish little body on "Lost" but her Elie Saab emerald gown, her makeup and hair, was beautiful. Well done, Evangeline!
Zhang Ziyi was another easy pick as best dressed. She wore a lime dress silk tulee by Armani with a sweetheart neckline and floor-length train. Sophisticated, dainty and elegant. Natalie Portman, even with her short hair (remember she shaved her head last summer?), looked chic in vintage Chanel with black lace and a ribbon belt.
Jessica Alba looked smoking as usual - didn't catch the designer's name, but the dress was perfect. Ditto for Best Actress winner Felicity Huffman who will need to pick out another killer dress because she's likely to get an Oscar nomination in a few weeks for her role in "Transamerica."
Keira Knightley was a near miss last night. Normally, she can wear a garbage bag and make it look good, and while her Valentino dress was beautiful it didn’t need that curtain tie-back thingy hanging down the front waist...
Sarah Jessica Parker looked elegant in a black gown but then she ruined the overall effect with that Marge Simpson beehive hairdo. OMG! It’s amazing she didn’t fall over when she tilted her head back.
Other than Johnny "Reb" Depp who couldn't find a comb and couldn't care less, the men were very well put together: Russell Crowe, Patrick Dempsey, Naveen Andrews, Joaquin Phoenix, Denzel Washington, Ang Lee, Eric Bana, Matthew McConaughey, and Ryan Phillippe all looked fab.
And the best dressed cast goes to "Lost" who picked up the award for Best TV Drama.

I think it is appaling all the back lash that Johnny Depp has received for his choice of outfit for the golden globes. I think in a world where mens choice of attire is, well.... less than exciting. He chose something different! He escaped the boring and standard "black and white" tuxedo. We as viewers have no idea on a whole, what men are wearing, "oh thats an armani suit, no wait, that might be a Valentino?!?! "...Whatever?!?!....... we see maybe........ oh yeah one button instead two,.... no wait!! its satin lapels, there is a nice change (NOT!!!) Johnny Depp wore a stricking, RED, and he looked phenominal! He stood out, of the boring black and white male parade along the red carpet. I am not a huge Johnny Depp fan, but I do have to credit where it is due!! He looked GREAT!! and thank Goodness someone on the red carpet broke up the black and white streak, I was starting to think I was having technical difficulties with my TV! ..........Kudos to Johnny!!
