Tori Spelling, who is still married to husband Charlie Shanian, has publicly announced her engagement to actor Dean McDermott.
Both People and US Magazine are reporting that Charlie proposed to Tori on Christmas Eve in Toronto. But wait! He's still married too!
It's the latest rage to be engaged in Hollywood (stars don't "date"), especially if the couple has only known each other for a few weeks. Tori and Charlie actually met a year ago but it's odd that they didn't wait until their respective divorces are final. Charlie filed for divorce from his wife of 12 years, Mary Jo Eustace, in September, and Tori, the former "Beverly Hills 90210" star, filed for her divorce in October, some oh, 86 days ago.
She must be over the painful breakup of her marriage by now.
"We're so incredibly happy and in love. We cannot wait to start our lives together," the couple said in a joint statement to People. "We both finally found our soul mate and we are beyond in love."
Since Tori's billionaire dad Aaron Spelling popped for a lavish wedding just 15 months ago, we can only wonder if he'll be as willing to waste another $1,000,000 on the next one too.
