The complex breakout plan on "Prison Break" was foiled Monday night when prison maintenance JUST installed a new piece of pipe in the infirmary's floor vent which prevented soon-to-be-executed Lincoln from joining his brother and the other inmates in the great escape, which may not be needed because Agent Hale was JUST about to name names but then he got whacked by Agent Kellerman JUST before he could give the list to Veronica, who had JUST learned that Terrence Steadman, the man Lincoln is accused of killing, was still alive, which meant Lincoln could be a free man, if they could only expose the government plot in time!
But Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) always has Plan B, and probably Plans C & D held in reserve -- so what will he do now that the guard was alerted to the noise and was about to uncover the escape attempt? Will Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) be saved from the electric chair?
By the time the show returns next March, will we have forgotten all these plot twists and turns in the tightly written jailhouse drama? One thing is for sure, Lincoln probably doesn't get executed, since Dominic still gets top billing over Wenty on the show.
This fall finale cliffhanger left us wanting more but no thanks to Fox's ridiculous scheduling, they've put the highly successful hit "Prison Break" on super-secret probation in order to make room for full seasons of "24" and "American Idol" coming in January.
Noooooooooo! "Just when I think I'm in, they pull me back out!" or however the Al Pacino saying goes. Geez, Lincoln's got 12 hours left to live and bummed fans have to suffer through endless episodes of "Idol" several nights a week along with dead wood such as "That Awful 70s show." Way to gyp us, Fox.
